How I run commissions. Please note the size of the swag bag may vary depending on commission content.
Further fascinating facts about commissions
E-mail NeonGryphon@hotmail.co.uk to ask for a commission (or price enquiry). Please make sure you fill in the topic bar of your e-mail with something relevant e.g 'commission enquiry.' Ill send along the Question Sheet if Im available to work.
Please remember that you are responsible for communicating your concept, so be sure to supply as much relevant information at this stage as possible - picture references are as welcome as text. My Question Sheet covers all the basics, but feel free to add more where you think its needed.
Price is agreed between buyer and artist. This will include any applicable postage or print charges. And if you requested a tight deadline, you may be charged an additional rush fee.
I will e-mail progress reports throughout, including sketched drafts and colour WIPs. Only once you're satisfied with the sketch will I continue to the colouring stage. You may ask for any alterations on the sketch, but please be frugal with your requests. Remember it is the buyers responsibility to communicate the concept to the artist before work begins on the image as such only three revisions to the image will be made for free. After that you may incur additional charges for further work.
Feel free to drop me emails with feedback regarding how you feel the commission is progressing. Communication from the buyer is encouraged throughout the project.
I always offer a reduced JPG file with an unobtrusive copyright watermark for the buyer to display the art online. All I ask is for credit and a link to my gallery where possible 8)
The artist reserves the copyright to the image unless a written agreement is made regarding its sale.
