Please excuse any typos or grammatical errors. I didn’t have much time to whack this together. Nothing is worse than someone saying “If you don’t want your art stolen, then don’t post it online.” The internet is a brilliant resource for development, advertising and for fun. I hope this tutorial will help artists enjoy the web without fretting over the illegitimate use of their art too much. Arguments about watermarks can rage on for eternity. So the above is what I consider to be a fair compromise between the artist’s right to protect their work, and the viewer’s preference for an unmarred image. Civil opinions and feedback are always welcome, but please no scolding debates about artists using watermarks in my comments. For that go to the forums. Thank you and enjoy  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The watermark provided by dA is convenient, but it's rather distracting and often detracts from the image.
